Why the free plan is not crippled
A tool you use every morning has to be worth opening on the first morning. Metering the thing that makes it useful — the number of mailboxes, the number of sends — would make the free plan a demo, and a demo is not a habit.
So the split is not by volume. It is by whether you have reached the point of asking harder questions: which message is working, and can I do this without switching tabs. If you never ask those, the free plan is the whole product and that is a fine place to stay.
Questions
Is it really free?
The whole working product is free: tasks with steps and schedules, unlimited mailboxes and templates, sequences, follow-ups, the sending record, the daily email, the board and history. Pro adds two things — reports, and the browser extension — for $5 a month or $45 a year.
Does it send email automatically?
No, and this is deliberate. Follow-ups become due and wait for you to press a button. Nothing goes out while you are asleep, which means nothing can arrive the morning after someone replied by phone.
Whose email address does it send from?
Yours. You connect your own SMTP mailboxes and mail goes out from your domain, so replies land in your inbox and your reputation stays yours. Credentials are encrypted and never leave the server.
How many mailboxes can I connect?
As many as you want, on any plan. Each has a daily cap it refuses to exceed, and a template picks one of its assigned mailboxes at random so volume spreads without you tracking it.
Do I need the extension?
No. Everything can be done from the dashboard. The extension saves the tab switch: it reads the address off the page you found the lead on, fills the variables from text you highlight, and sends from there.
Is this a CRM?
No. There are no deals, stages or forecasts, and there is not going to be. It is a list of repeatable tasks and an honest record of what you sent.
What happens to my data if I stop paying?
You keep everything. Reports and the extension stop; the tasks, mailboxes, templates and the full sending record stay exactly where they were.
Can I use it without sending any email at all?
Yes, and plenty do. A task is any repeatable set of steps — links to open, text to copy, notes to yourself. The email side is optional.
